Nadine brings over 15 years of experience in strategic communications and design. She holds a Bachelor of Design from NSCAD University, as well as a Master’s in Public Relations and a post-graduate certificate in Health Communications and Aging from Mount Saint Vincent University. Her academic foundation complements her creative expertise and leadership in communications.
Nadine spent five years with the Government of Nunavut’s Department of Health, first as Mass Media Coordinator for the Tobacco Reduction Team and later as Manager of Communications. In this role, she sat at senior leadership tables, managed media relations, built a reputation for navigating crisis communications, and delivered new territory-wide health promotion campaigns. She supported all Health divisions, the Office of the Chief Public Health Officer, the Minister of Health, Iqaluit Health Services, and Nunavut’s 24 remote health centres.
Since 2019, Nadine has actively supported several government departments and non-governmental organizations in advancing their communications initiatives. She also works closely with physician organizations on communications and engagement strategies. She has a passion for graphic design and for mentoring in the communications field.
Based in Halifax, Nadine enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, listening to mystery podcasts, painting, and (with determination) trying to surf.
