Amanda Kilabuk is a dynamic leader and accomplished professional with a demonstrated track record of leadership and expertise in financial management, non-profit organizations, and promoting educational pathways for Inuit. She has a strong strategic vision and a passion for making a positive impact in the Inuit community. Through her previous work with Tungasuvvingat Inuit and current work as both a Consultant for Sivummut and Director of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit (MMIWG2S+) Urban Indigenous Action Group, Amanda is committed to empowering individuals and communities through education and by advocating for inclusivity.
Originally from Arviat, she also grew up in Iqaluit. Being a RCMP spouse, she has spent some time in Rankin Inlet, Winnipeg, Iqaluit and currently resides in Ottawa. Amanda is the proud mother of three children and is a self-professed “hockey mom.” She also enjoys trying new recipes, cake decorating, and travelling (particularly to hot places!).
