Jessica Inookee

Jessica Inookee is a Beneficiary of the Nunavut Agreement and recent addition (2023) to the Sivummut team as Junior HR Consultant. Jessica has eight years of HR experience as both a government and private sector employee. This includes work as a Technical Recruiter for Hourglass HR, and as Staffing Consultant Intern, Staffing Officer and Divisional Secretary for the Government of Nunavut’s Department of Human Resources and former Department of Recruitment and Staffing.

A graduate of the Nunavut Sivuniksavut program in Ottawa, Jessica has supported numerous HR activities, ranging from scheduling and conducting correspondence with candidates to drafting job advertisements, screening criteria and interview questions for competitions, to conducting interviews, rating interviews, and conducting reference checks of candidates. She also has maintained staffing databases and candidate profiles in multiple programs, such as Zoho and ePersonality.

Jessica is excited to gain more experience in her role and be able to help build the workforce within the GN again. Jessica enjoys spending her free time going for walks with her daughter and three dogs, sewing and cooking.
